Privacy Policy — Takeoff Auto-Poster

Takeoff Auto-Poster (“the Extension”) is a staging assistant for dealership teams that helps reps organize inventory listings for manual posting on Facebook Marketplace. This policy explains what the Extension collects and how it is used.

What we collect

We do not collect your location, browsing history, health, financial information, or the contents of your Facebook account. The Extension never reads, fills, types into, or submits the Facebook Marketplace form — every post is created manually by you.

How we use it

The information above is used solely to operate the Extension’s features: signing you in, showing your dealership’s inventory, downloading listing photos to your computer, and recording staging activity for your dealership’s dashboard.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the service (our own backend, hosted on Google Cloud, and Google Firebase Authentication). We do not use your information for creditworthiness or lending, or for any purpose unrelated to the Extension’s single purpose.

Data retention & deletion

Staging activity is retained in your dealership’s Takeoff Social account. To request deletion of your data, contact your dealership administrator or email support@takeoffsocial.com.

Permissions

The Extension requests only the permissions needed to function: downloading listing photos, showing a side panel, storing your session, opening the Marketplace tab, authenticating with Firebase, and communicating with the Takeoff Social backend. It requests access to facebook.com only to add a single “Open Takeoff staging” button on the Marketplace create page.
