Takeoff Auto-Poster (“the Extension”) is a listing assistant for dealership teams that helps reps create inventory listings on Facebook Marketplace by pre-filling the listing form from their dealership’s inventory data for the rep’s review. This policy explains what the Extension collects and how it is used.
We do not collect your location, browsing history, health, financial information, or the contents of your Facebook account. When you click “Fill this listing”, the Extension writes your inventory data into the Marketplace create form on your screen for your review; it does not read or collect anything from Facebook, and it never submits or publishes the form — every post is published manually by you.
The information above is used solely to operate the Extension’s features: signing you in, showing your dealership’s inventory, downloading listing photos to your computer, and recording staging activity for your dealership’s dashboard.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the service (our own backend, hosted on Google Cloud, and Google Firebase Authentication). We do not use your information for creditworthiness or lending, or for any purpose unrelated to the Extension’s single purpose.
Staging activity is retained in your dealership’s Takeoff Social account. To request deletion of your data, contact your dealership administrator or email support@takeoffsocial.com.
The Extension requests only the permissions needed to function: downloading listing photos, showing a side panel, storing your session, opening the Marketplace tab, authenticating with Firebase, and communicating with the Takeoff Social backend. It requests access to facebook.com only to add an “Open Takeoff staging” button on the Marketplace create page and to pre-fill that page’s listing form with your inventory data when you ask it to — never to read your Facebook data or publish on your behalf.
